Surface-Piercing Propeller

This type of propeller is called surface-piercing because it is partially submerged in water, with the other part above the water level. These propellers, typically three-bladed, are used for high-speed applications and typically feature a profile with a blunt trailing edge, where the maximum thickness is usually located. Additionally, they have a sharp leading edge.
