This sample illustrates how a fully-parametric tip-rake marine propeller can be modeled using the Advanced Propeller Workflow.

Tip-Rake Propeller

This type of propeller is called tip-rake because the tip of the blade (blue region) is bent either backward or forward. This concept originates from airplane winglets and is introduced to reduce cavitation and noise.

Additionally, the NACA 16 profile is used, with an option to control the Angle of Attack (AoA) locally at the tip, which significantly influences the tip rake effect.
