Controllable Pitch Propeller
This sample illustrates how a fully parametric Controllable pitch marine propeller can be modeled using the Advanced Propeller Workflow.
Load Model
This type of propeller is called Controllable Pitch Propeller (CPP) because the pitch of the propeller can be adjusted via a mechanism that rotates the blade. This allows for controlling the angle of attack of the incoming flow. The animation below shows the blade rotating from -45° to 45°, controlled by the rotAngle parameter.

Additionally, the NACA 66 a = 0.8 mod profile is used, and besides controlling the pitch through blade rotation, the design pitch point can also be adjusted via the Design Variables of the Radial Distributions.
